This is not a substitute for classes, but an opportunity for independent work with a glass instructor on staff

Mosaic Art (ages 18+)
Mosaic Art is one of the original art forms and pieces can be made to last for centuries. Choose between several exciting projects, levels from beginner through expert, or bring in your own unique project (with instructor approval). Supplies and materials are included in the class fee to complete one beginner or intermediate level project. All skill levels welcome Tuition includes materials and use of tools. Meets in the Hunters Woods Woodshop for six weeks. TBD
Fused Glass (ages 18+) This class will cover the basics of glass fusing. Full use of manual and machine glass cutting and shaping tools will be made available. Glass, adhesives and bails are included for several projects. Students who own their own molds may create slumped pieces. All work will be fired offsite after the last class and will be available to be picked up later. Tuition includes materials and use of tools. TBD
Micro Mosaic Jewelry (ages 18+)
Create beautiful jewelry using glass from around the world including tiny Moroccan tiles, Italian millefiori, gold smalti, crystal rhinestones and Paua Abalone from New Zealand. All skill levels are welcome. Tuition includes materials and use of tools. Students can expect to complete between one and six pieces. Currently the class limit is three, however the room in Lake Anne is large so we might invite a few more. Meets from 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. with a break for lunch. TBD
Open Glass Studio (ages 18+)
Facilitated by an experienced glass instructor, tools are provided; however, participants are expected to work independently on projects. Materials are not included; however, the use of tools is included. Please note that we do not have a glass kiln or torches. New! Purchase your pass in advance, between one and ten visits good for two years. Reserve your spot in advance or drop in if there is an open seat. Limit three students per session. Meets in the Hunters Woods Woodshop. First and Third Sundays 1:00 – 5:00 p.m.
